MILAN, Italy -- Serie A leader Juventus remained on course for a third straight title with a 3-0 victory over second-placed Roma, which was forced to play with nine men for the final 13 minutes on Sunday. Authentic Wes Hopkins Jersey . It was a 10th successive win for Antonio Contes team and saw it extend its lead at the top of the table to eight points at the halfway stage of the season. It was Romas first loss of the season. "Our statistics are impressive and show that we fully deserve to be top of the table, clearing away any type of doubts," Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon said. "Today we won thanks to several incidents which we made the most of. While they were in the game, Roma showed they are a team to be feared, they are not second by chance. Roma impressed me for the first hour." Juventus was in complete control following goals from Arturo Vidal and Leonardo Bonucci but Roma was still fighting to get back in the game. However, Daniele De Rossi was sent off for a brutal tackle on Giorgio Chiellini and Leandro Castan was also shown a straight red card two minutes later after he handled on the goalline. Mirko Vucinic fired home the resulting penalty against his former club. "We had so much possession but we werent efficient up front," Roma coach Rudi Garcia said. "For me thats the problem. We didnt have many chances but Buffon had a good first half, but they didnt have many chances either. "We have to be stronger in the future to be able to win these matches, but the title race isnt over, it hasnt ended here, there are still 60 points at stake. We have to get back to winning as soon as possible. Our aim is to return to Europe, we are second so we are in the right spot." Juventus almost doubled its lead shortly before halftime when Tevez rolled a tantalizing ball across the face of goal but no one could get on the end of it for the tap-in. The home side did score again immediately after the break when Bonucci was left unmarked at the far post and the Juventus defender slid in to turn home a Pirlo free kick. There was bad news for Juventus as Tevez went off injured on the hour mark. Romas hopes of a comeback diminished following De Rossis moment of madness and all but evaporated when Castan followed him. In Tuscany, Fiorentina struggled at times before grinding out a 1-0 win against struggling Livorno. Livorno almost took the lead shortly before Fiorentina scored, when Ibrahima Mbaye was left unmarked but headed off the crossbar. The visitors went close again when Paulinho rounded Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto but Rodriguez got back to clear off the line. Fiorentina moved provisionally level on points with third-placed Napoli, which hosts Sampdoria on Monday. Livorno remained two points off safety. Chargers first-rounder Derwin James finally made it to the practice field Thursday Roger Lewis Jersey , after missing the first four days of camp with a hamstring injury. But after what he went through off the field in June, he’s glad to be here at all.
Viaè½Eric Williams of ESPN.com, the rookie safety confirmed reports that he was robbed at gunpoint on June 23, with thieves getting away with a gold chain and his Rolex Nick Perry Jersey , after slashing three of his tires so he couldn’t give chase.
“I wouldn’t wish that upon anybody,” James said about the incident. “It happened. It was just one of those things that you never expect to happen to you, but it happened, and I’m just happy to be out here playing football.”
James wasn’t harmed during the robbery Stephon Gilmore Jersey , and he made the team aware of what happened immediately.
He was activated from the non-football injury list yesterday.
Count out Devante Smith-Pelly if the Washington Capitals win the Stanley Cup and are invited to the White House to celebrate with President Donald Trump.
”The things that he spews are straight-up racist and sexist,” Canada’s Postmedia quoted Smith-Pelly as saying Wednesday as the Capitals prepared for Game 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights. ”Some of the things he’s said are pretty gross. I’m not too into politics, so I don’t know all his other views, but his rhetoric I definitely don’t agree with. It hasn’t come up here Alex Okafor Jersey , but I think I already have my mind made up.”
Smith-Pelly, one of two black Capitals players, is from the Toronto area. He spoke two days after Trump canceled the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House, and a day after NBA stars LeBron James and Curry both said they wouldn’t visit.
The Capitals lead the best-of-seven series 3-1 Danny Shelton Jersey , and can hoist the Cup on Thursday night.
The 25-year-old Smith-Pelly has scored in the last two games of the finals and had six goals – two of them winners – and an assist in the playoffs. He had seven goals in 75 games in the regular season.

Ezekiel Ansah signed his franchise tag Tuesday Marquel Lee Jersey , signaling his return to the Detroit Lions .
"That's a pretty big guy to have returning," Lions coach Matt Patricia said recently. "If he was out there in the free agent market with some other team right now that would be their front headline."
Detroit designated the defensive end from Ghana as its franchise player nearly two months ago.
"When we were going through the process and Matt got on board, Ziggy was the No. 1 conversation," Lions general manager Bob Quinn recalled last week. "So Fred Biletnikoff Jersey , what are we going to do with Ziggy? I had my thoughts. It didn't take long for me to show Matt why we should do what we did."
Ansah has 44 sacks in five seasons with the Lions. He had 12 sacks last season, bouncing back from an injury-filled 2016 season in which he had a career-low two sacks. He had three sacks in a game three times last season.
"To have an outside, edge rusher that can be as dominating as Ziggy is something that is really appealing to Matt," Quinn said.
"Matt has had a lot of great players in New England and Ziggy would rank right up there with some of the best edge players Matt has ever coached.
"We're really excited to get Ziggy into this new scheme."
Detroit drafted him No. 5 overall in 2013 out of BYU Andre Reed Jersey , where he was originally more interested in track and basketball than football. He has started 71 of 73 games, playing through injuries the past two years, and has 207 tackles.
Ansah was not made available to reporters Tuesday, but quarterback Matthew Stafford reflected on the coaching transition from Jim Caldwell to Patricia.
"Obviously D.J. Fluker Jersey , change happens in the NFL. It's almost inevitable," Stafford said. "I think the goal is to play well enough to not have those changes. Obviously, we didn't in the past."
The Giants saw one of their defensive starters exit Sunday’s practice on a cart due to an injury.
Linebacker Olivier Vernon was the unlucky recipient of a ride back inside after he went down during a drill and grabbed for his lower left leg. After practice, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said that Vernon got his feet tangled with blockers and is being evaluated for an ankle injury.
Vernon is heading into his third year with the Giants and his first season as a linebacker in the 3-4 base system installed by new defensive coordinator James Bettcher. He played 12 games last year and had 37 tackles Odell Beckham Jr Jersey , 6.5 sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles.
Kareem Martin, Connor Barwin and third-round pick Lorenzo Carter join Vernon at outside linebacker for the Giants.

Last year at this time James Harrison Jersey , the Colts had a high degree of confidence that quarterback Andrew Luck would be ready for training camp. This year, the Colts have a high degree of confidence that quarterback Andrew Luck will be ready for training camp.
In the interim, Luck still hasn’t thrown a football.
“I’m not worried at all,” first-year head coach Frank Reich told reporters on Wednesday, via FOX59.com.
“Right now we鈥檙e just continuing to stay in the same mode,” Reich added. “Can鈥檛 cut things short. There鈥檚 no reason to cut things short. It鈥檚 a day-by-day process and evaluation and just staying trusting in that.”
The goal remains to have Luck ready to throw without restrictions or limitations when training camp opens, even if he doesn’t throw at all before the offseason program ends next month.
“I鈥檓 completely comfortable with him throwing when he鈥檚 ready, when the doctors say he鈥檚 ready,” Reich said. “He鈥檚 totally engaged in every aspect of what we鈥檙e doing mentally. The physical part for a guy like him, you鈥æªe got to work at it, but I鈥檓 not worried about that.”
Luck still hasn’t thrown without limitation since having outpatient shoulder surgery in January 2017 Dalvin Tomlinson Jersey , a procedure that prompted owner Jim Irsay to declare that Luck would be ready for the start of the regular season. Since Irsay didn’t specifically identify which regular season, there’s a chance he’ll still be correct.
Regardless, it’s all just talk at this point, bordering on noise. There’s no reason to give any credence to anything anyone says until Luck actually is back. Whether he is or isn’t, history tells us that the things people inside the team tell us mean nothing at all.
Still stung by the Blues missing the playoffs for the first time in six seasons, general manager Doug Armstrong capped a major roster overhaul on the first day of the NHL’s free-agency period by acquiring center Ryan O’Reilly in a multiplayer trade with the Buffalo Sabres.
Aside from landing a nine-year veteran in O’Reilly on Sunday, St. Louis committed $31 million in salary to sign forwards David Perron and center Tyler Bozak to multiyear contracts.
”Once you miss the playoffs, change has to happen,” Armstrong said. ”We’re a non-playoff team for the first time in a number of years and it doesn’t sit well with the St. Louis Blues organization, and certainly the fan base.”
Making drastic changes was also the theme in Buffalo, where general manager Jason Botterill continued shuffling the under-performing roster of a team that finished last in the standings for the third time in five years.
”We had to change the dynamic Martavis Bryant Jersey ,” Botterill said. ”The bottom line was there’s a lot of great people in that locker room, but when you finish 31st, you have to look to make changes.”
The Sabres added experience to a young roster by acquiring veterans forwards Vladimir Sobotka and Patrik Berglund. They also acquired forward Tage Thompson, a 2016 first-round draft pick, who had three goals and six assists in 41 games as an NHL rookie this season last year. Buffalo rounded out its haul by adding a conditional first-round draft pick next year and a second-rounder in 2021.
The Blues also agreed to pay O’Reilly the $7.5 million contract bonus he was due by the end of the day. Botterill said the price for O’Reilly would have gone up once the Sabres were put in a position to pay the bonus.
Berglund, a former first-round draft pick, has 168 goals and 322 points in 694 games over a 10-year career in St. Louis. Sobotka is a defensive forward, who has 47 goals and 155 points in 463 career games over nine seasons.
The trade continues a busy stretch in Botterill’s rebuilding plans.
Aside from selecting 18-year-old Swedish defenseman Rasmus Dahlin with the No. 1 pick in the draft last month, he also acquired play-making forward Conor Sheary in a trade with Pittsburgh last week. The Sabres addressed their goaltending needs by signing former Blues backup Carter Hutton to a three-year, $8.25 million deal Sunday.
Hutton will share the starting duties with Linus Ullmark, who is pegged to make the jump to Buffalo after three seasons in the minors.
O’Reilly was expendable because he was one of the few assets the Sabres could trade. And he also caused a stir during an end-of-season availability by suggesting there were times he had lost the passion for hockey and that a losing culture had crept into the locker room.
Armstrong is confident a change of scenery will help O’Reilly.
”I’ve certainly been guilty of saying things I was thinking and wishing I didn’t say them. He probably would add that to the list of things he wishes he could’ve kept internal Vincent Valentine Jersey ,” said Armstrong, who is familiar with O’Reilly during the time they’ve spent together as part of Canada’s national team at international tournaments.
”He’s got great passion for the sport. He’s got great passion to compete and win,” he added. ”And hopefully, this gives him the boost that he feels is necessary that he can come in here. And quite honestly, we need that boost.”
O’Reilly completed his third season in Buffalo since being acquired in a trade with Colorado, after which the Sabres signed him to a seven-year, $52.5 million contract. He’s one of the league’s most dependable two-way forwards, and set the NHL record by winning 1,273 faceoffs last year.
Perron returns to St. Louis for the third time in his NHL career after signing for $16 million over four years. He spent last season in Las Vegas, where he set career highs with 50 assists and 66 points. Bozak, who signed a three-year Roger Lewis Jersey , $15 million deal with St. Louis, spent his first nine seasons in Toronto, where he scored 136 goals and 365 points in 594 games.
”You bring in Ryan O’Reilly, and you bring in Perron and Bozak, experience players, I think it just makes you better,” Armstrong said.
Notes: Buffalo signed goalie Scott Wedgewood, who is expected to take over the starting duties in the minors. … Forward Scott Wilson returned to Buffalo by signing a two-year, $2.1 million contract. … The Sabres also signed defenseman Brandon Hickey to a two-year entry-level contract. Hickey completed his senior season at Boston University, and was acquired by Buffalo in trade with Arizona last month.

Earlier, Cagliari missed a penalty as it was held to a 0-0 draw at lowly Chievo Verona. Mauricio Pinilla blasted his spot kick over the bar in the 66th minute after the Chilean forward had been tripped by Bostjan Cesar. It was the first penalty Chievo had conceded all season. Both teams struggled to create any scoring opportunities. Chievos best chance came with its first sight of goal, just before the hour mark, when Cyril Thereaus effort scraped past the outside of the post. Cagliari extended its unbeaten run to seven, while Chievo snapped a run of two defeats and moved provisionally two points off the relegation zone. Zach Ertz Jersey . The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open the season without quarterback Jameis Winston Cassius Marsh Jersey , who has been suspended three games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Winston said in a statement released on Facebook that the NFL informed him of their decision on Thursday. The discipline stems from the league’s investigation of an accusation that the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner groped a female Uber driver during a ride the quarterback took in Arizona, where Winston was attending a charity event in March 2016.
The driver did not file a criminal or civil complaint, however she reported the incident to Uber. The NFL learned of the allegation, when it was reported publicly last November.
”The league promptly initiated a comprehensive investigation that included interviews with several persons, including the driver, Winston and others with relevant information,” the NFL said in a statement announcing the suspension. ”The league also examined an extensive amount of other evidence, including telephone records, business records, data from electronic devices and other communications.”
The Bucs drafted Winston No. 1 overall in 2015, despite questions about the young quarterback’s behavior during his college career at Florida State.
Winston Eli Manning Jersey , 24, was accused of raping a fellow student at FSU, but was never charged. The university settled a Title IX lawsuit over its handling of the allegations with Winston’s accuser, Erica Kinsman, in January 2016 for $1.7 million.
Winston said in his statement Thursday that ”in the past 2 years my life has been filled with experiences, opportunities and events that have helped me grow, mature and learn.” Winston added that he has eliminated alcohol from his life.
Winston, who’s thrown for 11,636 yards and 69 touchdowns in three NFL seasons, has started 45 of the Bucs’ past 48 games. He missed three games last season with a shoulder injury and the Bucs finished 5-11, missing the playoffs for the 10th straight season.
He will miss the Bucs’ season opener at New Orleans on Sept. 9 Stefan Charles Jersey , as well as homes games against defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. He will be eligible to return to the team on Sept. 25, the day after Tampa Bay plays the Steelers.
The league said Winston is also required to have a clinical evaluation and cooperate in any recommended program of therapeutic intervention.
”All members of our organization are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the personal conduct policy of the NFL,” the Bucs said in a statement. ”We are disappointed that Jameis put himself in a position that has been found to violate the policy and accept today’s decision by the commissioner.”
The suspension will cost Winston $124,411 of his base salary of $705,000 for the upcoming season. The quarterback is set to earn $20.9 million in 2019.

When veteran Todd Desgrosseilliers was recovering from battle wounds, he went back to a boyhood love: fly fishing. The organization he now leads has 8,500 participants, one of whom was so inspired by Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing that he told Desgrosseilliers: "This program saved my life."
Desgrosseilliers' group for disabled veterans is one of many receiving funding though the Bob Woodruff Foundation , which this week secured an agreement with the NFL to support such initiatives.
"The Bob Woodruff Foundation provides us with a grant each year that supports one of our largest programs, rod building," Desgrosseilliers says. "We had over 900 veterans participate in it as part of a larger core of activities we have that include fly fishing education and outings.
"When our participants are able to come to the meetings John Kuhn Jersey , the rod building provides them with an activity that kind of brings them together, creates camaraderie."
Such pastimes create more than that. For Desgrosseilliers, who learned to fly fish with his great-grandfather and grandfather in Maine, it has been an effective therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder and vertigo he suffered after a traumatic head injury in combat.
There are 222 programs nationwide under the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing umbrella. They stage local and regional events as well as national destination trips; 400 members will go on a variety of excursions this year, including to Alaska or the Florida Keys.
"It's a group of disabled veterans coming together with folks who care about them, and they are involved in an activity that is fun," Desgrosseilliers says. "We partner our programs with fly fishing organizations to provide the (3,500) volunteers who know how to do the fly fishing basics."
The Woodruff Foundation was founded in 2006 after reporter Woodruff was hit by a roadside bomb while covering the war in Iraq. To date, the foundation has invested more than $55 million to find, fund and shape programs that have empowered veterans, service members and their families.
Its $2 million affiliation with the NFL announced this week will bolster the grant work done by the foundation.
"The NFL is such a prominent American brand and one that has a longstanding commitment to the veteran community Davante Adams Jersey ," says Marshall Lauck, the foundation's chief growth and marketing officer. "This is not something new to them; their history with supporting veterans and active military members is strong. This is a time with increased interest on their part in how they can most effectively support the veteran community (through nonprofits).
"Our expertise can be very helpful for the NFL in its goals in supporting these communities."
One program receiving grants from the foundation is Hire Heroes USA. Hire Heroes provides individualized personal assistance to transitioning veterans and military spouses, helping them with interview coaching, resume coaching or finding the right fit for a veteran entering the workforce.
That group recently passed the 25,000 mark for veterans being hired.
Another organization, Bunker Labs, helps veterans with entrepreneurship opportunities.
There are some similarities to NFL players transitioning from the sport into the "real world" and veterans adjusting after leaving the service.
"I think the challenge we had with the NFL was in putting together what is mutually beneficial in finding that common ground," says Anne Marie Dougherty, executive director of the Bob Woodruff Foundation. "We can meet what their organization and brand priorities are. There's not only affirmation of the need in this space, but also an investment in the solution.
"One of the uphill battles we continue to have working in this space is we have been a nation at war for the longest time in our history. And there is a sense for something to get media coverage it can be ... not positive. This is a really important time for us. We will put this money to good use."

The Miami Dolphins concede that Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki could block better. They drafted him anyway Zay Jones Jersey , which shows how much they like his pass-catching skills.
Gesicki was a second-round selection Friday in the Dolphins' latest attempt to fill a position that has been problematic since Adam Gase became coach two years ago.
The 6-foot-5 Gesicki was the second tight end drafted because his athleticism, including thunderous dunks in basketball and success in volleyball.
There's a reason he lasted until the 42nd overall pick, however.
"The one thing everyone talks about is him not being a great blocker," Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said. "But there are a lot of really good tight ends and pass catchers who are not great blockers. And this kid wants to be a better blocker."
In the third round Miami drafted Ohio State linebacker Jerome Baker. He'll be reunited with another former Buckeyes linebacker, Raekwon McMillan, the Dolphins' second-round choice in 2017.
The Dolphins hope Gesicki's deficiencies don't keep him from starting as a rookie. He could give Ryan Tannehill the downfield target in the middle of the field that Miami has lacked in recent years.
"He's a hard matchup for people Jeremy Kerley Jersey , being that big and athletic," Grier said. "The speed will open up other stuff."
Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron were disappointments at tight end for Miami the past two years, and they're no longer on the roster. Gesicki joins an offense that averaged 17.6 points last season to rank fifth-worst in the NFL, and he expects to help the Dolphins do better.
"I'm exactly where I belong," he said. "I'm excited to get to work in this offense. It can become very exciting in Miami."
Gesicki had 15 career touchdown catches at Penn State and averaged 11.5 yards per reception. He acknowledged he has room for improvement and expects to benefit from NFL coaching.
"I definitely need to continue to improve my run blocking," he said. "My best attributes are in the passing game Deion Sanders Jersey , and I need to continue to develop on the other side."
While Gesicki's size made him an appealing choice, the 225-pound Baker is undersized. But he had seven sacks and a hand in six takeaways the past two seasons, and led the Buckeyes last year with 72 tackles.
"He has speed, and we want to get faster on defense," Grier said. "He's sideline to sideline."
Grier said the Dolphins considered using the pick to take a quarterback, but decided Baker was too good to pass up Chase Allen Jersey , and McMillan's assessment of his former Ohio State teammate was a factor.
"We had some insider trading with Raekwon," Grier said.
McMillan suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first exhibition game last year but is expected to start in 2018.
The Dolphins took Alabama All-America safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in the first round with the 11th overall choice. On the final day of the draft they'll be in the market for a defensive tackle and backup quarterback.
Teenager AJ Hurt captured the women’s Alpine combined race at the U.S. championships, while Olympian Ryan Cochran-Siegle earned the men’s title.
The 17-year-old Hurt finished an event that combines the time of a super-G and a slalom run in 1 minute, 54.70 seconds on Wednesday. She held off Roni Remme of Canada by 0.25 seconds.
Hurt is coming off a season in which she wound up sixth in the NorAm Cup standings. She also made her first World Cup start in Killington, Vermont, last November.
On the men’s side DeForest Buckner Jersey , Cochran-Siegle held off Luke Winters by 0.89 seconds. It was an early birthday present for Cochran-Siegle, who turns 26 next week.
Cochran-Siegle competed at the Pyeongchang Games in February, with his best finish 11th in the giant slalom.

The Patriots are sporting a new look on defense and an attitude of leaving behind their lack of defense in the Super Bowl.
Former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia is now head coach in Detroit. Longtime assistant Brian Flores is running the defense in New England without the formal title of coordinator.
Several players have shuffled on and off the roster. Starting cornerback Malcolm Butler signed with Tennessee in free agency after being mysteriously benched for most of the Super Bowl Steve Bartkowski Jersey , but key additions include lineman Danny Shelton, pass rusher Adrian Clayborn and cornerback Jason McCourty joining his twin brother Devin in the backfield.
Linebacker Dont’a Hightower says the players are moving past the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, a game in which the Patriots defense allowed 613 yards.
”I don’t think any of those guys are going to let that hold over their heads. I’m sure they’re focused on this year. That Super Bowl last year is gone, it’s over with,” Hightower said. ”We’re focusing on training camp.”
Safety Duron Harmon says all his teammates can do now is buckle down on their assignments and string good days together.
”If you’re looking at the tunnel you can’t even see the light right now,” said Harmon, who changed his number to 21 as he gave the No. 30 jersey to Jason McCourty, who played for the Browns last season.
Players say Flores has brought in a different terminology and attitude.
”I know how he’s going to drive the team and I appreciate it Russell Wilson Jersey ,” Harmon said. ”I like his intensity, I love his attitude and I just know it’s going to help me become a better football player.”
NOTES: WR Malcolm Mitchell, still working his way back from knee surgery, was among the players who missed the first day of camp. . TE Rob Gronkowski, in camp amid crawling talks aimed at a new contract, was asked if Tom Brady amazes him performing at this high level after age 40: ”It’s just like he was out here when I first got here. He’s full go, always ready to roll and it’s just an inspiration basically, just how fast he’s always playing and he’s ready to roll.” . Players and coach Bill Belichick are refusing to address Butler’s exit Mike Alstott Jersey , with Harmon saying: ”Malcolm has moved on, he’s now with the Tennessee Titans and it’s time that we do the same.”

Kyrie Irving is playing coy about the possibility of reuniting with his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron James next season in Boston.
The Celtics guard on Tuesday deferred when asked about the prospect of the team pursuing James this summer. The 33-year-old James has a player option to remain in Cleveland next season but could opt for free agency.
”In this business, I’ve kind of experienced it all and I’ve seen a lot, so we’ll see what management decides,” Irving said when asked if he would be open to playing alongside James again.
Irving was drafted No. 1 overall by the Cavaliers in 2011 and played three seasons with James, from 2014-17. The duo made three straight trips to the NBA Finals, winning a championship in 2016.
”Obviously, it’s a business at the end of the day Robert Alford Jersey ,” Irving said. ”Ownership and management, they’re going to feel what’s best for our future and I’m fully supportive of (them). We’ll see what happens.”
Irving was traded to Boston last August and averaged 24.4 points and 5.1 assists over 60 games in his first season with the Celtics.
The five-time All-Star missed the last 15 games of the regular season and the entirety of the playoffs after undergoing left knee surgery.
”To kind of have something like that unexpected, it was hurtful, because just a lot of what I wanted to accomplish with our guys and individually as one of the leaders of the team,” Irving said.
Irving also had a separate surgery in May to repair a deviated septum, a procedure that kept him away from the sidelines for Game 7 of the Celtics’ Eastern Conference Finals series against James and the Cavaliers.
”Obviously, it wasn’t going to feel the same (not being there), but I was just so proud of our guys and what they did Wayne Gallman Jersey ,” Irving said. ”They passed a lot of expectations, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
Cleveland beat Boston 87-79 in Game 7 to send James to his eighth consecutive Finals series. The Cavaliers were swept by the Golden State Warriors, dropping James’ personal Finals record to 3-6.
The Celtics expect Irving to be completely recovered by the start of training camp in the fall.
”I’m feeling good,” Irving said. ”It was going to be a process coming back, just making sure I’m healthy enough for September. Just trying not to push it too hard.”

KANSAS CITY Logan Paulsen Jersey , Mo. — The Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Royals, two diametrically opposite clubs, meet in a three-game series beginning Friday night at Kauffman Stadium.
To say they are polar extremes would not be an exaggeration.
The Red Sox own the best record in the majors at 59-29. They have won eight of their past 10 and 10 of their past 13. They are 30 games over .500 for the first since they ended the 2013 season 32 games above.
Boston leads the American League with 463 runs and has outscored its opponents by 130 runs.
On the flip side, the Royals have lost six straight, 18 of 21 and 25 of 30. They are 25-61 and are 36 games below .500 for the first time since ending the 2006 season 62-100.
Kansas City ranks last in the American League with 297 runs and has been outscored by 167 runs.
“We didn’t have opportunities to manufacture runs,” manager Ned Yost told reporters after Wednesday’s 3-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians. “We had opportunities with runners in scoring position that we couldn’t capitalize on. And that’s been a major problem for us all year long.”
The Red Sox are 31-17 on the road. The Royals have lost 12 of their last 13 games at Kauffman Stadium and their 11-32 home record is the worst in the majors.
The Royals have not scored more than four runs in 25 of their last 26 games. They have failed to collect double-figure hits in 25 of their last 26 games and are batting .191 with 55 runs in that stretch.
And who do the Royals face in the opener of this series?
None other than dominant left-hander Chris Sale, who leads the American League with 164 strikeouts and is averaging 12.7 strikeouts per nine innings. Opponents own a .179 batting average versus Sale (8-4, 2.41 ERA).
“He looks like the best pitcher in the big leagues right now,” Boston manager Alex Cora said.
Sale, who ranks among the league leaders in overall ERA, owns a 2.32 road ERA and a 2.45 night ERA. He enters the game having not allowed a run in his past 15 innings. Sale is 3-1 with a 1.03 ERA in his past five starts after striking out and allowing a first-inning single to Giancarlo Stanton in seven dominant innings in an 11-0 win at Yankee Stadium over the New York Yankees on Saturday.
“He was outstanding again Davon House Jersey ,” Cora said. “Fastball command and off-speed pitches, it was a great performance.”
Sale is 10-10 with a 2.92 ERA in 33 career appearances, 22 starts, against Kansas City. He held the Royals to two runs and five hits while walking two and striking out six over seven innings in a no-decision on May 1 at Fenway Park. Sale is 2-0 with a 2.87 ERA in his last four starts in Kansas City, striking out 34 and walking five.
The Royals will counter with right-hander Jason Hammel, who is 2-10 with a 5.56 ERA. He is tied for the AL lead in losses and has yielded 15 runs in his last two starts. He is 0-5 with a 4.33 ERA in seven home starts this season.
Against the Red Sox, Hammel is 3-4 with a 5.13 ERA in 16 career appearances, nine of them starts. He dropped a 10-6 decision on April 30 to Boston, allowing eight runs on eight hits, including a pair of home runs, and three walks over 4 2/3 innings.
While Sale was the AL Pitcher of the Month for June LaAdrian Waddle Jersey , Hammel went 0-5 with a 6.43 ERA in six starts last month after ending May with back-to-back victories.
Hammel’s biggest challenge will be Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez. They rank 1-2 in the majors in slugging percentage with Betts at .669 and Martinez .642.
Betts has 21 home runs and a .338 batting average. Martinez is hitting .327 with a major league-best 26 home runs, which is more than any Boston player hit in 2017.
Betts also hit three homers at Fenway Park on May 2 and went 4-for-4 in that game.
The NBA draft featured several big men on Thursday night, and the biggest was Mohamed Bamba.
The Orlando Magic drafted the 20-year-old center with the sixth overall pick. The young man from New York City who played one year at Texas joins a team that went 25-57 last season and has averaged only 26 wins over six straight losing seasons.
”I’m not going to sit here and say things are going to change overnight,” Bamba said. ”It’s going to take more than one person and I actually believe that with the players around me, we have the right pieces to make the organization successful.”
After a run of drafts that have helped to turn the NBA into a perimeter-oriented league, four of the top six picks selected Thursday nights were players who stand 6-foot-11 or taller. Bamba, who measured 7-foot, 3/4-inch and 226 pounds at the NBA draft combine, is a half-inch taller than DeAndre Ayton, who was drafted first overall by the Phoenix Suns.
Bamba’s 7-foot-10 wingspan is reportedly the largest ever measured at the combine.
”He will be the longest player in the NBA,” said Jeff Weltman Demetrius Harris Jersey , Orlando’s president of basketball operations, ”and he has already, in his short time in college, proved to be an elite-level shot blocker.”
Weltman was ”surprised and elated that Mo fell to us at 6,” and added that it would not have possible without the swap of the third and fifth picks.
The Atlanta Hawks drafted European guard Luka Doncic with the third pick and traded him to the Dallas Mavericks for guard Trae Young, who was taken fifth.
Bamba averaged 12.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.7 blocks as a freshman for the Longhorns. He was second in the nation in blocked shots among Division 1 teams, and his 15 double-doubles led the Big 12 conference.
Bamba’s offensive game is considered undeveloped, but Bamba expects to make an immediate impact.
”I see myself fitting in right away as far as the trend of bigs trying to do it all,” he said. ”But it really comes down to defense. You are who you can guard in the NBA, and as long as you can guard multiple positions you can stay on the floor. And as long as you can shoot the ball you can stay on the floor.”
It is the second year in a row the Magic had the sixth overall pick in the draft.
Last year Orlando drafted 6-10 Jonathan Isaac Morgan Cox Jersey , who is also known as a shot blocker. But Isaac was limited to 27 games due to injuries and averaged 5.4 points and 3.7 rebounds. Isaac was the tallest of the six players at the top of last year’s draft.
”There are so many things that you need to be successful, but length is a huge element of floor coverage,” Weltman said. ”If you can have it and maintain skill level and all the other things that you could list, you would always rather have it. And when you start adding it up with a lot of players, it becomes kind of a force multiplier.”
Bamba has met Isaac, and said ”he was like a role model in a sense because he was in the class ahead of me.”
Orlando’s management team, headed by Weltman and general manager John Hammond, is directing the team’s draft for only the second year.
The Magic will also have a new leader on the bench in Steve Clifford.
The former Charlotte Hornets coach was hired on May 30 to replace Frank Vogel. Clifford is Orlando’s fifth head coach since Stan Van Gundy was fired in 2012 after coaching the team’s last winning season.

Our aim is to return to Europe, we are second so we are in the right spot." Earlier, Fiorentina beat Livorno 1-0 in the Tuscan derby and Cagliari drew 0-0 at Chievo Verona as Serie A resumed following a winter break. There was bad news for Fiorentina as star striker Giuseppe Rossi was injured again. Rossi, who is the top scorer in Serie A, limped off in the second period with what appeared to be a knee injury. The United States-born player has only recently recovered from two years of injuries and several surgeries. Juventus was boosted by the return of key playmaker Andrea Pirlo from a five-week injury layoff, but it was Roma which started the brighter and Gianluigi Buffon had to rush out smartly to close down Adem Ljajic after six minutes. Roma had more possession and several half chances but Juventus looked dangerous on the counter -- cheered on vociferously by the home fans -- and took the lead in the 17th minute with its first real opportunity. Carlos Tevez spun and threaded the ball through for Vidal to beat the offside trap and slot into the back of the net. Juventus almost doubled its lead shortly before halftime when Tevez rolled a tantalizing ball across the face of goal but no one could get on the end of it for the tap-in. Newly signed Seahawks receiver Brandon Marshall said Wednesday the ankle injury that ended his 2017 season with the New York Giants also gave him the chance to fix an older injury that had been bothersome for the previous two seasons.
Marshall said that he also had surgery to repair a toe injury that he first sustained during a game against the Oakland Raiders when he played for the New York Jets in 2015.
“My first year with the Jets Cameron Meredith Jersey , I hurt my toe in the Oakland game,” Marshall said. “Knew I needed surgery but it was one of those things where I was going to wait until I retire because a surgery like that it takes five, six, seven months to get back right. I didn’t want to lose my offseason so I was going to wait until I retire. When I snapped my ankle I said ‘well, I’ve got half of the season and then I’ve got the offseason so I might as well do it now.’ That’s the thing that took the longest. Right when I was released from the Giants (on April 19), probably a few days later I was able to run pain-free.
“I’ve been working ever since. I feel good. I don’t feel great. Obviously I’ve got a lot of catching up to do and get into some football shape.”
The toe injury didn’t seem to be prohibitive to Marshall being able to play. He didn’t miss a single game in 2015 despite the injury and finished the year with 1,502 receiving yards an 14 touchdowns. That also included 100-yard games in five of the last six games the Jets played that season and seven touchdowns over that span as well.
But the Seahawks will hope that with the ankle injury behind him and a bothersome toe now cleaned up as well, Marshall will be able to provide a significant boost to their receiving corps. Marshall knows that he has to prove he can still get the job done at 34 years old as well.
“I think the sentiment around the league is that I’m done Tedy Bruschi Jersey ,” he said. “And I get it, rightfully so. When you get on the other side of 30 (years old) and your production slips and you have a big injury, people just count you out. So it was an interesting process, a humbling process to say the least.”
MILWAUKEE — With just two regular-season games left, the Milwaukee Bucks are assured of a spot when the postseason gets underway next week.
Where the Bucks will be seeded and who they’ll face in the opening round, however, is still up in the air, leaving plenty to play for Monday night when they host the Orlando Magic at the Bradley Center.
They’ll take the court Monday sitting seventh in the Eastern Conference field with Miami Rhett Ellison Jersey , which earns the sixth seed based on a tiebreaker, and a game ahead of eighth-place Washington.
Moving up would be welcomed but the Bucks would be happy to finish seventh. Not only would that allow them to avoid top-seeded Toronto as the eighth seed, a seventh-place finish sets up a first-round series against Boston, which lost point guard Kyrie Irving for the remainder of the season.
The Bucks kept pace Saturday, knocking off the Knicks 115-102 despite playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was resting a sore ankle. He’s expected to return Monday as is point guard Malcolm Brodgdon, who’s missed the last two months with a torn left quadriceps tendon.
“I can’t wait, man Odell Beckham Jr Jersey , I can’t wait to have him back,” point guard Eric Bledsoe said. “At the same, I think we did a great job of playing together since him and (Matthew Dellavedova) went down. Those are key pieces of our backcourt, him and Delly. Glad to have Malcolm back.”
Brogdon expects to get enough work in these final two games for him to be ready for the postseason.
“Absolutely,” Brogdon said. “I’ll definitely be able to get back into a rhythm, but it’s mandatory that I play at least a game or two before I get back to the playoffs.”
The Magic is not heading to the postseason and comes to Milwaukee having dropped two in a row — including a 112-101 decision at Toronto Sunday — and eight of its last 11 since posting a 126-117 victory over the Bucks March 14 in Orlando.
While the Bucks sort out their postseason plans, Magic head coach Frank Vogel could be running out the string on his time with the franchise.
He’s 53-109 since taking over ahead of the 2016-17 season but when Jeff Weltman took over as general manager and brought in John Hammond as his assistant — a reversal of the roles they held with the Bucks — both made it clear that they would evaluate the Magic’s coaching situation at the end of the season.
His roster was devastated by injuries this season and Orlando will have the fifth-worst record in the league at gametime Monday.
Still, his players appreciate Vogel’s leadership.
“Coach Vogel David Sharpe Jersey , he wants to see everybody on this team do good, especially the young guys,” forward Wes Iwundu said. “In games like this, it starts by building good habits. He don’t want to see no bad habits out there on the court.”
Along with the playoff implications, Monday’s game also marks the end of an era for the Bucks. It will be the final regular-season contest played at the Bradley Center, the Bucks’ home since 1988.
Milwaukee will move to a new, $500 million facility under construction just to the north of its current home next season.

Experience that improves over the MLB 19 Stubs
Few Yearly releases have been consistent as Sony San Diego Studio's MLB The Display. Each year the PlayStation-exclusive baseball game manages to provide a polished experience that improves over the MLB 19 Stubs past. The deficiency of plateauing is particularly impressive due to how little competition there is, even since it is not competing against games from 2K or Electronic Arts.
The years of gloss actually show in every facet of MLB 19 forum, by the preloading of throws for fielding into the three different forms of pitching. Whether you're looking for the maximum nuance of almost any baseball game out there or looking for something simpler and reminiscent of PS2-era names, there is a control strategy that will work in your favor.
The Show 18 does not feature anything truly groundbreaking, but there is Buy MLB The Show 19 Stubs a lot of refinement. Animation is one massive area from past titles that has been cleaned up farther, and there's a staggering number of new animations that help bring the baseball action to life. The familiar batting stances are here, but it is the small details and making certain that even the second-string catcher is true actually makes for an immersive baseball game. |

That you would like to Fortnite items
I'd advise against purchasing Save the World just for farming V-bucks: you might also spend the time and money playing something that you would like to Fortnite items play. But if you are curious and believe you could actually give the thing a go, this is a good time to do so. It's not such a terrible place to practice your shooting and construction, possibly, even hordes of zombies are a bit more forgiving, targeting-wise.
Fortnite Season 5: Could Not Care Less, Viewing'Friends'
Fortnite season five started today and while it is the largest patch ever for the match, I stopped playing the game right around the stage everyone started losing their collective minds over a meteor in the Buy fortnite materials sky. Afterward there was a rocket launch but before this, an Avengers tie-in and some thing about a playground recently and its an esport -- it is exhausting trying to keep up. But you can now drive golf carts today, therefore, game ?
Not too fast. I had some comfort food to the brain. Like season five Fortnite, season five of Friends was among the greatest of the show's history.

Anyone who's attempted to perform serious trading in different MMOs understands that knowledge in costs and player demand play a huge role in succeeding in this specific activity.
You're not a warrior, but you have high Attack, Power, and Defence. Your skills reflect your playstyle, but there isn't a hard division between character types. Everyone is invited to level all their abilities, and the ending goal for the majority of players is to find all of them to 99.
Old School Runescape additionally doesn't play like most MMOs. It lacks the customary array of skill bars, hotkeys and cooldowns. It seems more like a classic cRPG. It's introduced in simple, literal terms, and it is almost completely mouse-operated.
